bibbidi bobbidi boo!

This past weekend miss Molly participated in her first dance recital.  She has been a part of her dance class for the past year and has done great!  The recital topped it all though -- she did AWESOME! 

Here is our little Cinderella at dress rehearsal the night before the recital.  This big girl had her hair up in a bun and even wore makeup... {whew!} when did she get so big?!

I forgot to warn Molly that the stage would be dark when they would walk out and before they would start their dance... we could all hear them wailing in the dark because they were scared :(... good thing we have dress rehearsals, right?  The next day they set up a special light for them so it wouldn't be so scary.

I'm not sure if it was the dark stage that brought this on, but during rehearsal this is what Molly decided to do... nothing!!  Check her out in the pictures above just standing there!  We looked at these pictures and the video and she realized that she needed to up her game {I also may have bribed her with a new piece to her dollhouse too...}  During the real recital she rocked the stage and didn't stand there with her finger in her mouth thank goodness!

I wasn't able to take pictures during the recital, but Adrian had the Flip Video out and filmed it, I posted it here.  After they danced we met Molly in the hallway.  She had lots of people there cheering her on!

Mo's cousin MC made the trip down to watch her dance -- she was so sweet and even brought her a new ballerina barbie!
