Traci {Oklahoma, 30}

A few of us have anxiously awaited the "Show us Your Single's" post on Kelly's Korner and couldn't be more excited to introduce our amazing friend Traci!
Traci is one of our dearest friends and she exudes so many qualities that make her pretty great!  She is kind, generous, loyal, honest, faithful, a fan of OU football, OKC Thunder, and most importantly she loves Jesus! Over the years she has been extremely involved with her church.  She has traveled on a variety of mission trips and also enjoys working with youth groups. Traci's reputation speaks for itself among her past and current students in the church and in her everyday job as a teacher.  She graduated from the University of Oklahoma with a degree in Education and is currently pursing her Masters in Administration.
Traci is an amazing aunt to 2 nieces and 3 nephews.  She is very close with her family and enjoys celebrating the big and little things with them.  Traci is loyal to family, as well as her friends.  She enjoys relaxing nights out with the girls, sushi, and time at the gym.  She enjoys a variety of music from Of Monsters and Men all the way to Lady Antebellum. Traci also loves to travel, especially to the beach! She is always up for a night out, but also loves down time at home as well.
Our prayer is that Traci will meet a Godly man that will treat her with the kind of love that she deserves. If we could pick her perfect man, he would be honest, kind, and loves Jesus.  If you would like to learn more about our amazing friend please leave a comment below!

dancing queen{s}

Tonight was a night of hairspray, blush, nail polish, tutus, ballet shoes, and the click of cameras... dance pictures!!!  Molly is such a girly girl and was more than excited to paint her nails -- "purple to match my uniform with silver sparkles," and put on makeup!  I just want to point out that she calls her costume a uniform how sweet is that?!  Here are a few pictures that I took before we headed to the studio!

I feel like she looks SO tall and SO big in these pictures {sigh..}!!!

After our little photo shoot in the front yard we headed down to the studio for pictures.  All of the girls looked ADORABLE and did a great job!!!!  Here are a few pictures of Molly with her sweet friends!

Love these little hands and feet!
We are looking forward to recital night!  Stay tuned... :)

Camp Cross Point

Over Mother's Day weekend, our family headed down to Camp Cross Point to enjoy a weekend of camping with our family and friends from church.  This would have been our second year to attend and Molly was more than excited!  The night before we were scheduled to head out Grady started to run a temperature, boo!!  He didn't have any other symptoms, but his fever was super high - 104.7 at one point.  We woke up the next morning and headed to the doc and it had come down!  His ears were good and he tested negative for strep.  So we headed home for a nap and crossed our fingers that he would wake up good as new.  He did.... or so we thought!  We ended up packing the car and heading down to camp.  We got about an hour from the house and he started to look puny again.  I took his temp and to our surprised it had spiked waaaaay high again :(.  So we drove through Braum's to get dinner and headed home.
 Molly was very sad to say the least, but chocolate ice cream always makes things better!
 The next morning, Adrian and Molly got up and left the house around 5:30 to make it down in time for breakfast!  He's such a good daddy!  Grady and I stayed behind and did a lot of snuggling, resting, and laundry.  :)  I got quite a few pictures from friends over the weekend keeping me up to date on what Mo and her daddy were up to!

fun times!
Molly tells me just about everyday that she got to ride in the front seat with daddy "with NO SEATBELT!"  as they drove around the campgrounds!

All of the kids, what a great group!!
This is pretty much how G looked the entire time they were gone.  Poor guy was so sick - still not sure what he had, probably a nasty virus.  His fever finally broke on Monday morning.  Thank goodness!
Even though G and I missed out on the fun at camp, we had a nice quiet weekend at home and Molly and her daddy had some quality time together.  They enjoyed time at the beach, naps in the cabin, a bonfire with s'mores and singing, a walk to the cross, and lots of meals with friends.  Adrian fixed up their cabin cozy as could be and did a fantastic job taking care of his girl {with the help of friends, ha!}.  Poor guy was even on scorpion patrol all night after he found two babies in their bathroom!  It ended up being a nice weekend filled with memories that we will always remember!

first & last

Yesterday was Molly's last day of school!  She had a wonderful year and learned so much.  I pulled up the pictures from her first day of school to see how much she had changed.  For some reason I didn't think there was going to be a huge difference between September to May, but I was wrong :(!  Our sweet little one continues to grow and is turning into a beautiful {big} girl.

Thank you again to all of the teachers and staff at BBP.  We are so THANKFUL for YOU!

Mission {Evening Wear} & Mother's Day {Love}

Last week Molly, Grady, Nana, and myself loaded up in the mini and headed to Dallas, TX.  This wasn't an ordinary "get out of town and have a relaxing time" in Dallas, instead we were on a mission to find evening wear for Nana, fun times huh?!  The Oklahoma Bankers Association Convention is this week and to kick off the festivities my parents are attending the Past Presidents dinner.  So of course we had to find the perfect outfit!  We shopped our way through the Galleria and North Park Mall.  Let me just tell you that 2 children under the age of 5 + hours in various dressing rooms = one stressful situation!!!  Honestly there were some low times but overall M & G really did a great job!  Poor Grady held up pretty well being the only boy in the group and Molly got to go on a mini shopping spree at the American Girl store!  I think these pictures pretty much sum up the trip!
Molly:  "I LOVE shopping with the girls!!!!"
Grady: "Someone HELP me!!!!  I need BACKUP ASAP!!!"
We accomplished our mission and Nana found a beautiful outfit for the dinner.  My dad sent me these pictures tonight after the dinner!  Beautiful and Handsome!!!   Daisy and Papa were there as well... I need some pics Daisy :)!!
I also want to wish my sweet, beautiful, wonderful mom a Happy Mother's Day!!! I love you so much and am thankful for you.  Thank you for all that you do and most importantly for loving me and being the best mom a girl could ask for.  I LOVE YOU!!!!

I'm blessed with some wonderful ladies in my life and I also want to wish my amazing MIL a Happy Mother's Day as well!!! Thank you Daisy for all that you do!  We love you and are blessed to have your in our lives!  XOXOXO!!

Since I seem to be on a Mother's Day kick, I want to throw in one more picture!  This is a little collage of my Mother's Day afternoon with my family.  Bath time, sushi, and ice cream... perfection!!!
These two precious angels are the reason that I get to have the title Mom.  Thank you Molly and Grady.  I love you more than words.  I'm blessed.

Let's go to the "City of Lights!"

About 3 weeks ago we boarded an airplane and headed to VEGAS!  Adrian went for business and the kids and I got to tag along for some FUN!  We were in Las Vegas a year ago for the same conference so Molly was excited to go back and see the "City of Lights!"  We landed pretty early on Saturday morning, so we had the entire afternoon to explore and sightsee.  We were so busy that I failed at taking pictures.  Whoops!  I did remember to take my camera with us to dinner that night though.

Grady with Nana and Poppy!  "Everyone looks so FANCY!" {says Molly... :)}
"CHEEEEEEEEESE!"
I was SUPER nervous before heading down for our fancy dinner because the kids had been up since 6:30am {which was 4:30am in Vegas}, caught the 8:30 flight, landed and then walked around the entire day.  We got back to the hotel and had 7pm dinner reservations {which was 9pm at home - A.KA. waaaay past bedtime!}.  The angels were watching over us and we actually had a fantastic dinner with Daisy, Papa, Nana, Poppy, and another couple in banking.  We ate at a restaurant in the Bellagio called Jasmine and it was delicious!!  The restaurant overlooks the famous Bellagio water fountains, which Molly and Grady LOVED!
pretty girl!
By the time 10 pm rolled around not even the sounds of the casino could wake these two!!!
Think they were tired??  :)
After a good nights rest M & G were ready to hit the town!  This was Sunday and Adrian didn't have a work commitment until that evening so we got to spend the day together as a family!

Our future's so BRIGHT that we have to wear SHADES.
Watching daddy play the slots -- before we were told to "keep movin' folks."
We headed down to the Bellagio Garden to see the flowers.  It's so beautiful in there and smells wonderful, especially when you just walked through a smokey casino - blah!

Since we had been here just last year I tried to get some pictures in repeat places for comparisons sake.  I love seeing the difference, but it also makes me a little sad!  I cannot get over the amount of change that one year can make!!!!!

Picture time with daddy!
"Look over there dad!!"
Here's M on the entry to Treasure Island - she loved the big ship out front!
G crashed and caught a little afternoon snooze.
After a fun afternoon, Nana and Poppy took the kids for the evening so that Adrian and I could have a little date night!  We had a blast!  No pictures though - ha!!  I sent my camera with my parents in case they had any fun picture opportunities and these were on my camera the next morning.  Hmmmm... not sure the kids practiced their table manners.  Anything goes with Nana and Poppy and that's the way it's supposed to be!  They took the kids to a pet show and then had pancakes for dinner.  According to Molly the pet show was "oh so much FUN!"

The next morning, Adrian and Poppy left early to go to meetings and play some golf.  The kids and I spent the day with Nana and did a little shopping!  Here are the kids checking out the pool area before we headed out.
Molly's face cracks me up in this picture.  She was trying so hard to pose like Cinderella.   I think she must have been focusing on her feet and hands!
We had a few more minutes before Nana was ready so we stopped back by the gardens to take a few more pictures.
"ugh, I guess we gotta take some more pics...."
sweet babes.
Our handsome boy {with strawberry stains all over his clean shirt... oh the life with a BOY}!
Our pretty girl!!!!

The next day we woke up early, got ready, and headed down to say hi to daddy!
Being silly!

"HEY DADDY!!!!!!'
M teaching G how to work the elevator...
That afternoon, Molly and I got to have a little date at the pool!

Taking a coloring break...
 These next pictures make me laugh.  She's such a silly girl!!!

After swimming we headed up to get ready for our last dinner in Vegas at Joe's Stone Crabs - YUM.  Adrian had a dinner that evening, so we enjoyed the night with Nana and Poppy!
Poppy trying to find Nana..... haha :)!
After dinner picture time!!!

Check out those baby blues!
Nana and Poppy with M & G {at Caesar's Palace} in front of the fountain.
Molly really wanted to take a picture of us and I think she did a pretty good job!  We were laughing so hard at her working so hard to hold up my big camera and trying to find the right button to push.  It was a moment!
Molly enjoying the beautiful view from Nana and Poppy's room.
 Here's another comparison picture for you....  oh my.
