a big surprise, family, sparklers, & Panda Garden?

My sweet husband gave me a HUGE surprise yesterday! For a while, we have been researching bigger and fancier cameras. I have a Canon point and shoot camera that works pretty good, but lately we have been wishing for a really nice camera. Yesterday, Adrian told me he was going to run a few errands (which if you know my husband, he loves to run errands - so this was not out of the ordinary at all!) Well....he came home with a Canon Rebel t1i!
I was so very excited and shocked! It's my early birthday present and I couldn't be more excited. Stay tuned for many more pictures coming you way!

Nothing says the 4th of July like dinner at Panda Garden! Well, that's where we had dinner last night with my brother Drew and his family. It was actually pretty yummy and the kids had a great time, especially at the frozen ice cream bar. We had planned on watching the Norman fireworks show, but because of hurricane Alex the show had been cancelled. So we loaded up and headed over to the Riverwind Casino for their show. On the way we stopped off and picked up some sparklers and smoke bombs for the kids. We found a great spot in the parking lot and had a fun time playing sparklers and watching the big fireworks show. It was a really good show, they even had music in the back ground!
