Disney - Day 6

We got up bright and early to try and arrive at the park when it opened. The weather was supposed to be pretty nice, in the high 50s, still chilly but at least the sun was shining which made it a little better.

We didn't get there quite as early as we planned, Nana forgot her hat (that's for you mom!), but we got there in plenty of time to enjoy a fun fill day. We got off of the boat and immediatly went to the Pixar area of the park to get a fast pass for the Toy Story ride. The park had only been open for an hour and the wait to get on the ride was already up to 90 minutes. So we grabbed a pass for later. Everyone, except our family, went on the backstage guided tour. While they were backstaging it - we waited in line with Molly to meet a couple of guys.

After getting their autographs and pictures we met back up with the group to watch the Indiana Jones Stunt Show (my brother's favorite). Then we went over to Pizza Planet (from Toy Story) to grab lunch. It was yummy! Dad enjoyed his rice krispie treat!

Then we went to see the Muppets in 3D, Grady and Sam even got in on the action!

It was getting close to their afternoon parade, so I decided to find us some good watching spots while everyone else went on the Great Movie ride. While they were all gone and I manned both double strollers and our 2 babes, wouldn't you know that I got called out into the middle of the street to be apart of the pre-parade fun! They asked me all kinds of questions and told jokes and no one was there to laugh at me :(, so funny! But I did get us some great spots and we all enjoyed the "Block Party Bash" parade with Woody and his friends.

When the parade finished we decided to run over and use our fast pass to ride the Toy Story ride. It was tons of fun. It's an interactive 3D ride, it turned out to be everyone's favorite ride. The inside was amazing, it looked just like Andy's room from the movie and everything was made so much bigger so that you felt like you were a toy in his room. Super cute and waaaayyy fun!

I just had to show this picture of miss Mo being a bit of a stroller diva, we were all cracking up - she rode like this all the way to dinner.

We had dinner at the Sci-Fi Diner. The restaurant looked like a drive-in movie theater and all of the tables were in cars from the 50s. The food was okay... (more on that topic tomorrow)

After we finished dinner we ran to catch the show "Fantasmic," it was great! It was another fireworks show with Mickey from Fantasia as the host. Lots of lasers, fireworks, and characters from Disney. A must see. Then we all headed over to the Tower of Terror! The adults took turns with the kids so we could all ride. From there, Adrian ran over to get us a spot in line to ride Aerosmith's Rock n Roller Coaster - but by the time we all got there the park hours were coming to a close and they wouldn't let us join him :(... so he had to ride all by himself in the front!

Before we caught the boat back to the Boardwalk, we walked over to see the Osborne Family Spectacle of Lights. It was UNREAL. All of the lights are set to music and blink on and off, or dance to the music.

Another great day, we couldn't believe that the next day would be our last full day at Disney. We were finishing our time with a trip back to the Magic Kingdom in our matching Mickey shirts!
