late night scare...

A week ago today (May 27, 2010) a fire started in the restaurant CJ's which shares a wall with both the First National Bank in Wewoka and Snider Printing Co. Both businesses suffered major smoke and water damage. The Wewoka FD did an amazing job at containing the flames within the walls of CJ's,which was not an easy task. The fire site is still smoking and has flared back up a couple of times. We are all thankful that no one was injured and that no other buildings were completely destroyed. My parents along with the staff of FNB have been working hard to set up portable bank units so that business can go on as usual. Please keep them in their prayers as we all begin to rebuild and get back on the road to normal!
