Easter Weekend

This past weekend, we all loaded up and headed to Wewoka to celebrate Easter weekend with the family. We had a wonderful time! My brother came down with his sweet family and we all bunked up in my parents house. Drew's family, which has grown to a family of 5, all slept in his room and my little family of 3 camped out in my old room. There's something to be said about all sleeping under one roof with all the ones you love in the house where I grew up. There are so many GREAT memories in that home and we are constantly making new ones. My mom is the ultimate hostess - she goes beyond to make sure everyone is comfortable. We even had water bottles by the bed people, how great is that?! We had delicious food, fun games on the Wii, a visit from the Easter bunny, a great Easter message at our church, and made lots of wonderful memories.

On Saturday we all loaded up and headed over for the community Easter Egg hunt. Molly looks a little terrified in this picture. Right before we took this shot the Easter Bunny started the race by blowing the horns on the fire truck. The joys of a small town!

I don't think I have mentioned Molly's sudden OBSESSION with Mickey Mouse. Well she has one, and it's serious! My parents dug out our old records (yes records) and we found one that Drew and I loved to sing and dance to when we were little. The very first song is called the Mickey Mouse March. We played this song over, and over, and over, while it played we all marched around the house. If you saw us from the outside in you may think we were crazy! Our ring leader was always Molly! I have to give a shout out to her sweet cousin William, he was her biggest supporter. Here are some of us marching away.

What an amazing time we had with each other. The time just seems to fly by SO fast when we all get together, which I think is a good thing. I love Jesus, my family, and the many blessings in our lives. I'm sad to see this wonderful weekend end, but look forward to next year when we have another little blessing to add to the mix! Happy Easter everyone!!!
